                                  The Secret's paper quality seems like some valuable and mysterious secret is about to be revealed from this book... And that is the great strategy of the author to make a book title like this to grab attention of the readers... And also that's the reason for the increased cost of a book with mere 200 pages... One advice I want to give for Book readers is "Please don't go by the appearance of the cover and paper quality of one Book". Am not stating "The Secret" doesn't worth it... But it is shouldn't be the Strategy for buying or borrowing the books to read... 

                                  Now coming to the point, the book does reveals the secret of human lives... But unfortunately it is a kind of secret that most of us heard often and known by ourselves... 

"World doesn't need new Proverbs... It only need guidelines to follow the existing ones". The book does provide many strategies by which the secret can be followed by us... It helps us hold our determination and desire towards the secret and yeah, they may quite workout for most of the people... 

The author, in her prologue had said that after knowing the Secret, she went all around the globe to meet great minds and successful people to make sure the Secret is real... But I didn't knew or heard of even single person she pointed as great minds of the world... That made me think like the author uses a false strategy or even though those people may exist and did understood the secret, what's the point?  If the author might have went and interviewed familiar personalities and recorded their success stories, it might have made sense while reading them...  

In the whole book, the author's thought seems like people who are reading her book would definitely be in misery, distress, don't know to solve their life problems, relation ship issues, lack of money problems... So does the author used many examples of the people is dangerous situations like car accident, people having more debt, people having diseases etc... And another major issue caught my attention in personal is the author often pointed money as a great issue... Provide more and more theories for making money in abundance, having a bungalow, buying luxurious car...  In the whole book,I didn't found any theories that help reader's to follow passion... And that made me evaluate low about the book... 

At one part of the book author had said "Whenever you feel low, take this book, open a random page, and there you will find the answer for your problem". Oh yeah it does have answers for all kind of problems...  That's because most part of the book is hitting the same iron... Telling the same fact again and again and again and again from different people's view and using different phrases, but they all mean the common solution that one can use to handle the problems... A good strategy though, but doesn't seemed wise to me... 

                 Overall, if you want a book that provides you abundance of positive thoughts and theories "The Secret" is the best book I have read so far... The Book  will surely help some one come out of miseries and encourages us to attend many new things in life... I have gained many effective thoughts from the book... But if you are a mad reader like me who wants to give a single continuous read on books, this book is definitely "A Pain Over the Head"... The author failed to create more grip for readers... 

But as far as the self-help genres are considered, the way author partitioned the chapters, the way she used the facts and thoughts of the people, the way she insisted on her theory of revealing "The Secret" had proved the book is not worthless... 

My advice is don't buy it from shops,instead borrow from Friends or Library... But must give a read...

கவிப்பரிசு!!!

பெற்றவர்களை பேணி போற்றும் அன்பை

உன்னை  கண்டு  தெரிந்து கொண்டோம்…!!!

மற்றவர்களை மனிதத்துவத்துடன் அணுகும் பண்பை

உன்னிடமே புரிந்து கொண்டோம்...!!!

கல்வி கற்றவர்களின் மகத்துவத்தை

உனை கண்டு தெளிந்து கொண்டோம்...!!!

நட்பென்னும் அற்புதத்தின் இலக்கணப் பகுதியில்,

நீயும் ஒருவனாக நிற்பது கண்டு பெருமை கொள்கிறோம்...!!!

எங்களுக்கெல்லாம் சான்றோனாக திகழ்ந்து,

உன் தாய்க்கு ஈன்ற பொழுதினும் பெரும் மகிழ்ச்சி அளிக்கிறாய்...!!!

வெற்றி உன் தலையில் ஏறியதும் இல்லை,

தோல்வி உன்னை தரையில் வீழ்த்தியதும் இல்லை... !!!

மனம்:"கண் இல்லாமல் ஆட கூடிய சொர்க லோக தோட்டம் இது..."

"வில்லன் அவன் பேச்சை கேட்டு வீண் வம்பில் மாட்டாதே". 

"வெள்ளை குணம் கொண்ட என்னை வில்லன் என எண்ணாதே". 

"வெட்டவெளி பார்க்க வைக்கும், வெட்கத்தோடு நடக்க வைக்கும்". 

"வெட்கம் ஒன்றும் துக்கம் இல்லை, அதை கட்டி போட தேவை இல்லை". 

"கிறுக்கு புடிக்க வைத்து உன்னை இழுத்து சேற்றில் தள்ளி விடும்".

"பட்டாம்பூச்சி போல் பறக்கும் சுகம் உனக்கு வந்து விடும்".

"கத்தி போன்ற கண்கள் உன்னை கட்டிப்போட்டு கொன்று விடும்".

அறிவு: "அய்யோ!!! கண்டவையெல்லாம் அழகு என்று எண்ணி ரசித்த ரசிகன் எங்கே?

காரணங்கள் இல்லாமல் சிறிது மகிழ்ந்த சிறுவனை இப்பொழுது காரணம் இருந்தாலும் சிரிக்க முடியாதபடி செய்தது யார்? ஏய் மனமே... இது உன் வேலையா… ?  

ஆனந்த கண்ணீரால் ஆனந்தம் அடைந்து கொண்டிருந்த இவனை கண்ணீர் வற்றி போகும் அளவிற்கு அழ வைத்தது யார்? மனமே, நீ தான் காரணமா?

என்ன கொடுமை... இவனுக்கு இப்படி ஒரு  சோதனையா...  சசிட்டு குருவி போல் சிறகை அடித்து பறந்தானே...

பட்டாம்பூச்சி போல வண்ணமாய் திகழ்ந்தானே....

முயல் போல ஓடி திரிந்தானே...

இவனுக்கு என்ன ஆயிற்று?

மனமே, காதலுக்கு முன் கம்பீரமாக கருத்து யுத்தம் செய்தாயே, இப்பொழுது ஏன் மௌனம் சாதிக்கிறாய்... பதில் சொல்…

அன்றே சொன்னேனே உன் பேச்சை கேட்க வேண்டாம் என்று... அய்யோ...."  

எப்படி பேசும்... உயிரோடு இருந்தால் தானே... மனதிற்கு  காதலின் மீது காதல் இருந்தது... இவனுடைய காதல் என்று இறந்ததோ அன்றே தன்னை கிழித்து கொண்டு உயிரை விட்டு விட்டது மனம்...

மனதின் காதல் வாழ்க என்று வாழ்த்தி விட்டு, ஆட்சி ஏற்றது அறிவு... மனதின் நினைவுகளோடு...

அட... அறிவிற்கும் மனம் மீது காதல் போலும்...

என்ன தவம் செய்தேனோ!!!

அம்மா!!!!!!

    என்ன தவம் செய்தேனோ,

    உன் மடியில் நான் உறங்க,

    என் உறக்கத்திற்கு நீ கண் விழிக்க,

    உன் கையால் நிலாச்சோறு உண்ண,

    எனக்கு ஆடை அனிவித்து நீ அழகு பார்க்க,

    என் நா உன்னை அம்மாவென்று அழைக்க…..

அப்பா!!!!

    என்ன தவம் செய்தேனோ,

    உங்கள் கரம் பிடித்து நடை பழக,

    உங்கள் உபந்நியாசங்களை கேட்டு நடக்க,

    உங்கள் வியர்வையை சோறாக்கி அம்மா எனக்கு ஊட்ட,

    என் தேவைகளை நான் கேட்காமலே   நீங்கள்  புரிந்து  கொள்ள…..

கை எழுத்து அழகாக இருக்கிறது 

என்று பெருமை கொள்ளாதே...

நீ ஒன்றும் வள்ளுவனுக்கு 

எழுத கற்று தர போவதில்லை...

அமைதியில் உன்னை வெள்ள யாராலும் இயலாது என்று 

திமிர் கொள்ளாதே...

நடு கடலுக்கு உயிர் இருந்தால் 

அது உன் அமைதிக்கு சவால் விடும்...

நட்பிற்கு இலக்கணம் வகுக்க பிறந்திருக்கிறாய் என்று 

மெச்சி கொள்ளாதே...

ஔவ்வை-அதியமான்,பாரி-கபிலர் 

போன்றவர்களின் நட்பிற்கு 

ஒரு படி கீழே தான் நீ நிற்கிறாய்...

பொறுமையின் சிகரம் தொட்டு விட்டதாக

கர்வம் கொள்ளாதே...

காந்தி, புத்தர் போன்றவர்கள் வாழ்ந்த மண்ணில் தான் நீயும் பிறந்திருக்கிறாய் என்பதை மனதில் வைத்துக்கொள்...

இறுதியாக,

யாருக்கும் வாய்க்க பெறாத நண்பர்களின் நட்பு 

உனக்கு கிடைத்து விட்டதாக எண்ணி 

மகிழ்ச்சி கொள்ளாதே...

நாங்கள் பெற்ற தோழியின் நட்பை விட சிறப்பு வாய்ந்த ஒரு நட்பை 

நீ பெற்றுவிடவில்லை...

திருத்தி எழுதிய ஆசைகள்!!!

கொட்டென்று கொட்டிய மழைதனில் 

திளைத்த பூக்களை, 

சட்டென்று முத்தமிட ஆசை... 

சில்லென்று வீசும் காற்றின் இன்பத்தை 

என் சொல் கொண்டு உணர வைக்க ஆசை... 

நான் எழுதும் கவிதைகளை 

நால்வரேனும் படித்து, 

மூவரேனும் திளைத்து, 

இருவரேனும் சிந்தித்து, 

ஒருவரேனும் உணர ஆசை.... 

மழலையின் சிரிப்பிற்காக 

மலைகளை குடைய ஆசை... 

மனம் விட்டு சிரிக்கும் தருணம் 

தினம் பெற்று மகிழ ஆசை... 

பறக்கும் பட்டாம்பூச்சியின் பின்னே சென்று 

அதன் சுதந்திரத்தை ரசிக்க ஆசை... 

கடற்கரையில் அமர்ந்து 

என் கவிதைகளை படிக்க ஆசை... 

என் புலம்பல்களை படித்து படித்து 

அதன் அழகில் சிரித்து மகிழ ஆசை...

அழகிய உணர்வுகள் ஆகின்றன...

என் நண்பனிடமிருந்து 

மரியாதையை கற்கிறேன்,

என் தந்தையை கண்டதும் 

எனக்கு முன் அவன்

பெரியோர்களின் மீது அவனுக்குள்ள மரியாதை 

அவன் மீது எனக்கு மரியாதை ஏற்பட காரணம் ஆகிறது!!!

ஒரு கவிஞனின் திறன் 

அவையில் புகழப்படும் போது 

அவனுக்கு கிடைக்கும்  

முதல் கை தட்டல் ஓசை 

இன்னொரு கவிஞன் உடையதாகத்தான் இருக்கும்!!!

              பிறக்கும் முன் ஊருவது இல்லை, 

              எவருக்கும் கற்பனை திறன் 

               கற்பிக்க படுவது இல்லை, 

                நான் ஒன்றும் இதற்கு

Art of Diary Writing!!!

                                   "Does diary writing take place in your habits list?" When I throw this question at someone, the most usual reply would be "I like to write diary... But I don't find time for it..." I could see most of the people not giving much importance to such things... That's because they may not know the hidden fortune in having the habit of "DIARY WRITING..." And that urged me to share my thoughts about my habit of this ART which brings me immense happiness in one or other way...

                                   You may wonder  “Why and how he can even point Diary writing as an ART...? Does it make any kind of sense?” Yes it does make sense… 

• An art is a way of expressing heart’s language same as the speech is of  Mind’s…
• An art portrays the hidden fortunes of the life… 
• An art gives value and special meaning to the small ,small things in the world... 
• An art brings out the unspoken truth of the lives… 
• An art is the source of happiness and pain… 
• An art brightens one’s life…

                                    The reason why I am referring diary writing an art is that, The Life’s happiness is in remembering the happy, sad, painful, hard  past  and living the present happily and gratefully... 

                                    As a writer if  any of my readers come to me and say they feel happy while reading my works and love my writing as my thoughts are bringing fortune in their lives,I get satisfied.. But still ,that moment of appraisal is only the beginning of my happiness… Thinking of that moment after so many days and being grateful for that appraisal is what going to make my happiness complete…

                                    So the importance of remembering the past is as much important as living the present… Diary writing is one of the ways to remember the past and live the lives happily… A diary writing not only helps us remember the past… After some years of continuous recording of your life events if you open your old diary and read it, you can see your life’s curves and graphs… You can learn things from your life… You can understand your strength and weakness.. It can help you step forward with more care… After all "it will define, how you defined your life so far".So you can redefine it by understanding the past… If you want to know how to define your own life, please refer to my older post “A Self-Definable life…” It can help you understand the realities a bit…

                                   Most of the great people’s life histories are discovered through their diaries only…Those recordings helped researchers to bring the great identities out to the world…  Successful people often had the habit of diary writing… That’s because  they had known the importance of  value of the past  without which they might not have become successful…   

                                                         

                                         

   One interesting things about the art is, always one leads to the other… Art of reading can lead to art of loving…Art of loving can lead to art of  writing…Art of writing can lead to art of blogging… I hope my art  of blogging will lead to your art of diary writing… When I write diary I always use to draw figures around them to represent the status of the day… It leads to the birth of Artist me inside the Writer me...  That adds interest for the readers who may find my diary after 1000 years and can easily come to conclusion that am not only “a mad writer” but also a mad artist who draws mad figures madly… The way we represent contents can inspire people...

For example if I write “Got wet in rain on my way to home” it might go one of million unnoticed messages… Instead I prefer  writing like  “When I am about to get down of the bus, I wanted not to get wet in the rain… I ran to find a shelter… After a big chase between me and rain I got under a bus stop and sat on a seat… I noticed the continuous dripping of rain water from the shelter above… I could hear the drip sound crystal clear… ‘drip’, ‘drip’, I can’t stop myself stretching my hand out to catch the rain drops… ‘drip’, ‘drip’, ‘drip’ ,it got splattered in my face ‘drip’, ‘drip’, the chillness  is like needles…Then I thought “What am I going to gain standing under the shelter? Another healthy day in my life?  When I am going to make love with the rain? I may loose the chance of experiencing a walk with the rain”. “Hey rain, don’t go alone, let me come with you”  , I said and walked along with the rain… It showed me the happiness of flowers due to it’s service… Like me it is also feeling happy for making others feel happy… It came with me until my home where it dropped me… I bid a goodbye and it did too…  That made my day great… It was not “A WALK IN THE RAIN”, it was  “A WALK WITH THE RAIN”…

                                             

                                         Do you think your life is worth writing? Does your experiences have power to inspire the hearts of people? If yes,then it's time for you to make an ART...It's time for DIARY WRITING... 

An Independent mind!!!

                              Many kind of people come and go around our lives... In today's world, we all know that a person of one kind can nevertheless be compared with the other kind... I may have different mindset,perspectives and attitude towards things on which your views may differ...  Even though your perspectives are same as mine, the way you and me handle them differs... 

                               Apart from the activities of each individual, there are some concluded facts about human lives... These conclusions, regardless of unique life styles applies to all people... Based on my observations on people's life, I came to an one of the conclusions that is important to be taken and at the same time complicated to accept... Some times it is also necessary to accept bitter truth... 

                                

                                A person who think and act independently are the most adaptive in nature... They have more probabilities of coming up in life... They gain more experiences and learn more lessons from those experiences... They think and do things on their interests...They live their life to the fullest... They don't have any restrictions in thinking...  Regardless of  where that kind of life is going to get them to, they won't give up thinking beyond boundaries... That may be because they use to develop the confidence inside them knowingly or unknowingly which force them to involve in whatever they want to do... 

                                  A writer who doesn't think beyond the bounds can never understand the outside world and not be able to reflect the lives of people in their works... 

                                     

                                  An person who doesn't imagine out of the box and picture those imaginations in mind is in no case going to become a great Artist in future.. Fortune begins at independent thoughts...                                              

                                  Let's see an interesting example...

 One day an artist was drawing in his canvas... His Canvas is showing something spherical in size... Most of it's area is blue in colour... Some parts are green and some are brown... A cloudy surface is covering that spherical body... It seems like revolving... After sometime he completed his drawing... His canvas seems  like EARTH.... Oh my god!!! Yeah... That's Earth....  

He was drawing the portrait of the Earth... The fine details he added to his art made it look so alive... The portrait looks as if earth have had a photo shoot... 

Wait a minute!!! If the artist is drawing the Earth's figure having it in mind of him, where he was imagining he was standing and making this art? Yes, your guess is right... He was at the moon... There is the surface of the moon in his canvas... The intention of the artist is to draw the beauty of the Earth from the moon... And he did it... The art seems just mind blowing... Let us have a closer look at his art... Did you noticed those small holes around the Earth's cloudy surface...? He is expressing the OZONE DEPLETION... See the huge number of satellites getting engulfed around the Globe... He denotes the TECHNOLOGICAL WORLD... Can you see the PALM ISLAND of Arabia? 

Hey see there... A tiny figure looking like a stick? What's that? OMG!!! It's EIFFEL TOWER... 

How many details he had covered in his work... 

It is an awesome work...But one thing I don't get... Who is that person sitting with some writing material in a cliff of Moon's surface in the Portrait?? He looks like he is writing something on seeing the Earth above... Is he a writer? Though he might be, what he is writing about? A poem? Some novel?

 In confusion I went to the artist and asked "Who is that man on your portrait who is sitting and writing something? What does he have to do with your intention for expressing the beauty of the Earth from the Moon?" 

The artist smiled and introduced the person who was standing near him... “He is my friend… A writer…”

The Writer said “Hello ”.

“Hi…” I replied back.

The artist continued… “I am glad you liked my work… But one small correction… As you are thinking, my intention is not to show the beauty of the Earth from the moon…”

“What? Then what does the art impose?” I asked in excitement and confusion…

“I wanted to portray my friend’s desire to write something sitting on the moon on seeing the Earth… The person you saw in the portrait is my writer friend…” artist said and patted the back of his friend…  I was taken aback in surprise…

                 “Wow… That’s really brilliant work sir… Hats off to your talents and your innovative thinking… ” I said to artist and moved in front of writer and asked

“What do you want to write sitting on the moon?”

The writer replied “I wanted to write about my artist friend’s desire to make an art of something standing on the moon…  And I did it… Here is my work…” he handed over me a hard copy of his work which is what you are reading now… :)

A two independent mind had broken all the restrictions and doing brilliant works using their talents…

                                        A man/woman with independent mind understand other's mindset,  know the reality and act according to them... A mother who doesn't think independently cannot understand her children's feelings and desires... A father who don't think out of the box cannot understand his children's dreams... 

                                        

                                         This independent thought strategy is one of the important factors for a human life...It should grow along with our growth... And it is more important to cultivate these kind of mindset in Children...  A child's mind is the most beautiful thing in the world and most powerful weapon too... It is like a clay... If you mould it to become a flawless pot with lot of artistic works in it, you have to take more care to handle it while moulding... If you fail to take much care about the shape and completeness, it will become something wired...  It is also an important factor to consider the way in which this thinking process should grow in one individual... Obviously not in bad way...

                                               

                                        If a person's mind is groomed in a right way, then there are no chances of misery, sorrow, depression, loneliness, distortion and all those pessimistic things that one can have in life...Human life is to live... To live independently.... And to let others be independent... 

It not only help us, but also people around us...   

An independent mind is the source of Wisdom!!!
